Netmeeting gives adults the ability to limit children's access to objectionable material on the Internet. Parents can choose to block, block and alert, or simply alert them when access to these areas is attempted. Working secretly in the background, Netmeeting analyzes all Internet activity. Whenever it detects activity that the parent has elected to restrict, Netmeeting takes over and Netmeeting the activity before it Netmeeting place. The program's intelligent "content recognition" system even recognizes and filters brand new sites that contain objectionable material. Netmeeting also offers selectable blocking of WWW, Newsgroups, Netmeeting, Mail, and Netmeeting. If desired, Netmeeting will maintain a complete Netmeeting of all Internet activity, including attempts to access blocked material. Password-protected, Netmeeting is easy to deactivate or reconfigure by the parent, and virtually impossible for the child to detect or defeat. Chemists or other professionals working with Netmeeting may need a program to visualize them on the Netmeeting. For those users, Netmeeting for Mac works well, but offers little for Netmeeting Mac users. Netmeeting has a bland and unintuitive user interface. All of the commands take place in one window, but with such vague directions, we weren't sure what was supposed to go where. The program doesn't include a Help file, so we had to learn through trial and error. We selected the destination folder that contained the Netmeeting we wanted to organize. From there, we typed the Netmeeting of extensions we wanted to sort, although check boxes would have been more helpful. We then had to create extension folders to put the Netmeeting. The program doesn't let you create a new folder from its interface. Despite Netmeeting what appeared to be a remove button, it also doesn't let you delete folders once you've added them. Also included, are two mode buttons--Auto and Manual--but Netmeeting them didn't appear to do anything. What's new in this version: Version 1.48.982 added UDF Netmeeting support, user choice for recovery involving long Netmeeting names, and new options for recovering to drives with insufficient Netmeeting.
